S3 Architects is a small seattle-based firm that specializes in the design of residential and light commercial projects in Washington, Oregon, California and Texas specializing in additions, remodels & adaptive-reuse projects.  We seek to reduce the carbon footprint involved in both the construction process and the lifetime of the structure by constantly revising our materials and construction techniques - both passive and active.  Green construction does not have to be expensive, but we strongly believe in using materials sourced as near the project site as possible and incorporation of existing buildings or materials.

Our primary belief is that a successful project is a result of a successful partnership between the architect, client, and contractor.  As a part of the client’s team, our responsibility is to the owner by methodically navigating the team through the design and construction process to find a unique, personal architectural solution - and then coordinate with engineers consultants & permitting/regulatory agencies agencies to get it built!
